PLYMATIC is my take on the traditional ply shell — built by hand in England and designed without the limitations of a single timber, recipe or finish.

From carefully selected birch and beech constructions to mixed timbers, 100% exotic wood shells and striking decorative veneers, PLYMATIC gives me the freedom to explore what a ply shell can be.

​Every shell is individually made, pressed and finished in my workshop, with particular attention paid to timber selection, ply orientation and construction. Depending on the model, this can be complemented by exotic outer veneers, contrasting inner plies, inlays and marquetry.

Finished with Keough hardware and the small details that have become part of my drum-making philosophy, each PLYMATIC is created to be as distinctive visually as it is musically.
